Language for granted

Bonjour! Salut! Bienvenue retourné! Alors, vous ne pouvez pas lire comme ça, non? C'est parceque ta tête ne peut pas comprendre le langue! Vous êtes né(e) comprendre le langue que tes parents parlent chez vous. Bien sûr, peut-être tes parents parlent deux langues donc tu es de la chance.

I hope you didn't understand any of that, in which case, i made my point.
So, translation.
'Hi! Welcome back! So, you can't read this, can you? It's because you can't understand the language! You were born understanding the language your parents spoke at home. Of course, with the chance that your parents speak two languages you are then very lucky.'

Think about it. How are you reading this? These symbols etched across your computer screen. and yet, you can comprehend them and make sense out of it. How is that you know that the period at the end of this sentence means that this is the end of my thought? Your brain! It's crazy isn't it?! And yet, I typed my ideas with the same symbols but in a different pattern and you suddenly couldn't make sense of any of it. They are the same letters, aren't they? well, maybe if you've taken or speak French that was nothing to you and now you're scoffing at my elementary French skills. :) (Yeash...very elementary, i know)
And how is it that a Chinese person can understand crazy symbols with scratches and boxes and dashes and yet they don't understand the simplicity of our letters?

Now I'm not pretending that I am all- knowing or whatever, but i want to share with you my theories on how this crazy but taken for granted little thing in life called language is learned.

My theory is this; when we are babies our mind is a blank canvas. At that point in time we can learn anything, anything at all. In fact we are so open to anything in the world we could be taught that a fork is called a book and computer is called a wind chime. When you read that sentence you probably just imagined a fork, a book, a computer, and a wind chime. It's because our brain works by imagery. When a person talks to you you imagine every noun and verb they say. (technically you don't think with articles) You put it together in your brain to form a sentence. Your brain reads the newly formed sentence and translates it for you to understand. When we get older we don't have to think about every word so robotically.
Isn't that crazy!?

Why not think about the little things in life that make the world go 'round?

Um...so..I suppose this should be an introduction to my blog...
So, I just want you all to know that I'm definately a 'noob' at blogging...sorry for the akward-ness of the whole thing.

So....just to start things off....Hi! I'm Fangedprincess (also my Youtube channel)! Some things you ought to know (sorry, this is the boring part) before you start reading, getting annoyed, and clicking the little 'X' button at the top of your screen....yes...i can see that on your screen...BWHAHAHAHA!!! O.o -_- (but seriously...)

I started blogging because I thought people would maybe/perhaps/not really find it interesting to question the little things in life that everyone takes for granted.

so...i'm gonna go now cuz my cereal is getting soggy....
